?? Senior Software Developer - PHP / Laravel / React.js / AWS ??
Oscar is proud to be partnering with one of our most trusted clients, a forward-thinking business based in Bristol, who are expanding their engineering team with the addition of a Senior Software Developer.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a 22-strong engineering team, where you'll be surrounded by a fantastic mix of seasoned senior developers and ambitious juniors. You'll work in a truly collaborative environment, reporting directly into the CTO, and play a key role in shaping and delivering high-impact projects that directly influence the company's growth.
* What you'll be doing:
* Building and maintaining high-quality, scalable applications using PHP (Laravel) and React.js.
* Designing and implementing cloud-first solutions with AWS.
* Mentoring and supporting junior developers, while also collaborating with senior peers to drive best practices.
* Working closely with the CTO to define technical strategy and contribute to architectural decisions.
* Taking ownership of projects from concept to deployment in a fast-moving, Agile environment.
* What we're looking for:
* Strong commercial experience with PHP (Laravel).
* Frontend expertise with React.js and modern JavaScript practices.
* Hands-on experience working with AWS services.
* A track record of delivering high-quality, well-structured code.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and mentor juniors.
* Working setup:
This role offers a hybrid working model, with just 1 day per week in the Bristol office and the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week.
* Salary & Benefits:
* £65,000 - £75,000 DOE
* Hybrid working (1 day a week in the office)
