Role Overview
Provide a patient administration service within the Health Records Department, supporting the patient’s journey through the hospital, both inpatient and outpatient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Administer patient records and coordinate with clinical staff.
* Ensure accurate data entry, confidentiality and data protection compliance.
* Support multi‑tasking in a busy environment, handling and moving records.
Qualifications & Experience
* Educated to standard grade.
* Knowledge of health records, SVQ level 2, ECDL or equivalent.
* Customer care skills and good interpersonal communication.
* Computer‑literate, keyboard skills.
* Experience in multi‑tasking and working both independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Data Protection and Confidentiality.
* Desirable: Previous health records experience and ability to work in a busy environment.
