Medacs is looking for talented midwifes to join a hospital 20-30 minutes outside the city Centre of Melbourne, easily accessible by public transport. The hospital is a tertiary level women's and children's hospital with a total of 237 beds in new and refurbished areas, 20 maternity delivery rooms, 39 special care nursery cots, and four theatres and additional clinics. The hospital also has the western suburbs' first ever neonatal intensive care unit to care for the most critically ill babies.
The roles:
* Registered Midwife- As a Registered Midwife (or Nurse/Midwife) you have the opportunity to work on rotation across areas such as:
o Antenatal Clinic
o Maternity Assessment Centre (MAC)
o Birthing Suite & High Care Unit (HCU)
o Postnatal Maternity Wards
o Domiciliary team
* Requirements - Current certification through AHPRA as a "Registered Midwife"
* Registered Nurse/Midwife - Public Fertility Care - Full time Mon - Fri providing infertility assessment clinics, IVF cycle management, pathology services, ultrasound capability and pregnancy testing
o Requirements - Current certification through AHPRA as a "Registered Nurse" plus fertility nursing experience and/or ambulatory care
