Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our creative technology ecosystem. The CTO will play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our multi-year technology strategy, placing technology at the heart of our business operations. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology trends, a proven track record in leadership, and a passion for driving innovation.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Proven experience (15 years) in a senior leadership role overseeing technology functions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* Demonstrated success in developing and executing technology strategies that drive business growth and innovation.
* Deep understanding of AI technologies and their applications in enterprise settings, particularly in content production or creative industries.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
* Strategic thinker with a passion for technology and innovation, and a commitment to excellence in all endeavors.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and articulate a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Lead the implementation of initiatives to drive content production efficiency, effectiveness, and governance.
2. Governance, Process, and Implementation: Work directly with the departmental leads to develop clear governance processes and implementation standards that build a solid foundation upon which to develop a world class technology ecosystem centered around our clients.
3. Departmental Oversight: Oversee the heads of department in IT, Engineering, Product, Business Intelligence, Infosec and Customer Success, fostering collaboration and alignment across teams.
4. Technology Compliance: Work closely with our privacy, infosec and legal teams to develop a compliant and governed technology ecosystem centered around accountability, risk mitigation and agility.
5. Technology Roadmap: Define and execute product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business priorities and customer needs. Drive innovation in next-generation production technology product development.
6. Budget Management: Manage technology budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
7. Data and Insights: Champion the development and implementation of a best-in-class business intelligence ecosystem, leveraging data and insights to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
8. Partnerships and Alliances: Be the point person for senior strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors whilst vetting new platforms and services, ensuring that our technology ecosystem is always underpinned by a best-in-class infrastructure.
9. AI Implementation: Demonstrate expertise in implementing AI into enterprise businesses, with a focus on generative AI applications in a production agency setting. Lead efforts to integrate AI technologies to enhance content production processes and outcomes in a safe, responsible, scalable, and observable manner.
10. Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to cross functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Drive employee engagement and development initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
