Full-Time SEN TA – Physical & Sensory Support (Sunderland)
Not all heroes wear capes. Some run sensory circuits before 9am.
This role supports pupils aged 5–11 with physical disabilities, sensory processing needs and complex motor challenges.

Daily Expectations & Routine
Morning Sensory Circuit
Support structured motor skill activities.
Classroom Support
* Adapt learning materials
* Support fine motor tasks
* Assist with movement transitions
Personal Care
Delivered respectfully and professionally where required.
Pupils leave at 2:30pm. Staff remain until 4:00pm for record keeping and programme reviews.

* Predictable routines
* Calm spaces

* Clear communication systems
Experience & Pay Scale
Moving and handling experience desirable but full training provided.
Open to trainee TA scale for suitable candidates without direct SEN background.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
