Sue Ross Recruitment are delighted to be working with a specialist consultancy supporting innovative businesses. They are seeking a highly organised and discreet PA to provide dedicated support to a senior executive across business and private matters.

You’ll be the trusted PA to a Senior Director—managing a complex diary, attending meetings to capture minutes and actions, and ensuring commitments are met. You’ll liaise with family members and professional advisers (including solicitors), drafting formal correspondence, and handling highly confidential and sensitive information. Occasionally work will be from the Director’s home residence in the Peak District, with regular time in the Dronfield office and some home working.

Key Responsibilities for the Executive PA role:

1. Diary & Logistics:Maintaining an accurate, forward looking diary; planning travel/routes; issuing timely reminders; adapting to changing priorities.
2. Meetings:Attending internal/external meetings; preparing agendas; taking minutes; logging actions; chasing completion; briefing the Director.
3. Correspondence & Documentation:Drafting professional letters; compiling formal documents; maintaining tidy records and version control.
4. Professional Liaison:Coordinating with solicitors and other advisers; tracking legal matters and timelines (e.g., estate administration).
5. Private PA Support:Handling personal and family related tasks with sensitivity and confidentiality; managing information boundaries.
6. Communication:Persistently follow up where responses are delayed; using judgment on channels and cadence.
7. Confidentiality & Compliance:Upholding data protection and confidentiality; managing sensitive records appropriately.

Person Specification for the Executive PA:

Essential

8. Proven experience in a senior PA/EA role supporting a high demand schedule
9. Exceptional patience, emotional intelligence, and resilience
10. Outstanding organisation, accuracy, and attention to detail; strong notetaking and action tracking
11. Discretion and trustworthiness with highly confidential matters (business and private)
12. Strong written communication; legally literate with familiarity in legal terminology.

Desirable

13. Experience liaising with solicitors on estate related matters; understanding of formal letter styles and legal drafting etiquette.
14. Prior exposure to supporting senior leaders in both business and family contexts.
15. Candidates must be based in the south west Sheffield area (S17/S18/Peak District) to support in-person requirements.
16. Hours:9:00–17:00, Monday–Friday (1hour lunch); fulltime only

18. Start:ASAP (notice periods respected)
19. Salary:£35,000–£40,000 DOE + benefits (Westfield Health, pension, optional salary sacrifice scheme)
