Ensure engineering support to focused tasks and activities to minimize machinery downtime and improve overall equipment efficiency. Coordinate all engineering activities through the CMMS system and ensure high levels of safety management are maintained and adherence to all relevant standards and codes of practice. Management of all maintenance records and associated remedial works to ensure legal compliance and company procedures are adhered to with regards to inspection and testing, mods to plant and equipment repairs and refurbishment Fulfill duty manager on call rota. Arrange engineering cover for all out of hours activities to support production, engineering, project needs and call outs. The Opportunity: Ensure a safe working environment for my colleagues and myself, work to safe systems of work ( permit to work, confined spaces, coshh etc) and at maximum efficiency, by conducting reactive, corrective and preventative maintenance tasks Step change facility & behavioural safety, maintain equipment to high standard of compliance with H&S policies, procedures, legislative requirements and code of practices (zero harm full legal compliance) Breakdown compliance to daily priority needs, managed through CMMS and priority orders, scheduled and complete daily Maintenance housekeeping at point of activity and workshop kept to high standards. Equipment booking out procedure utilised comprehensively Ensure consistent quality workmanship, attend training to ensure competency improvement and development. Carry out routine process checks to ensure SOP documentation comprehensively captures standardised work practices.
