We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of food preparation
* Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
* Manage food production processes, including portion control, presentation, and consistency across all dishes
* Oversee food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations
* Assist in menu planning and development to introduce innovative culinary offerings
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste and optimise resources
* Train new staff members on kitchen procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations
* Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Experience
* Proven supervisory experience within a busy kitchen environment
* Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation across diverse cuisines
* Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a culinary team effectively
* Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings
* Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with familiarity in serving customers directly or indirectly through quality dish presentation
* Experience in hospitality or catering sectors that emphasise high-quality service standards is advantageous
* Leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
