Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Lead Chiller Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for repair & maintenance of chillers, air-handling units and pumps ready for hire. You will also assist with the day-to-day running of the chiller test & repair department.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Maintain chillers on return from hire.
* Manage a small team, managing discipline, attitude, time keeping, absence.
* Diagnose faults and repair of chiller, and related equipment.
* Ensure all paperwork and F-gas Documentation is correctly filled in and filed.
* Obtain details and order parts for repair as required.
* Ensuring equipment is clean and in good condition for hire.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
* Experience as a Lead Chiller Engineer / Supervisor.
* F-Gas Certificate.
* City of Guilds or NVQ in Refrigeration.
* 3 years experience in Refrigeration / Air-conditioning.
* Full UK Driving License.
* Good time keeping / Work ethic.
Desirable:
* Electrical Qualifications / experience.
* Forklift License.
* Previous experience of HVAC hire industry
