Description
We are currently recruiting dedicated HGV Class 2 HIAB drivers who are looking for employment with excellent benefits, in return for a steady days work for our well known & respected clients working in Bridgwater & surrounding areas.
HIAB Drivers required in the Bridgwater area Monday to Friday doing builders merchant delivery. Average working times will be 0700-1700. Duties will involve working for various builders merchants in the local area. You will be expected to complete anything from 4 to 8 deliveries per day, all while operating the crane in a professional and safe manor. You will be expected to be able to work from your own intuitive and be able to secure loads safely.
THE REQUIREMENTS
· You must hold a full UK Category C Licence.
· Experience driving HGV Class 2.
· Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
· HIAB ticket (Training can be provided to upskill or refresh).
· Knowledge of load security using ratchet straps and other methods.
· Good knowledge of the local area.
· Clean and professional at all times.
· Good written and spoken communication skills.
· The ability to handball off large and heavy items if required.
THE PAY
PAYE
· £
· £20/hr Overtime
· Minimum 8 hours paid per day.
· Up to 28 days holiday accrued per year.
· Pension contributions after 12 weeks probation period.
