We are looking for a highly motivated, experienced Biomedical Scientist with a specialist portfolio or equivalent experience to join us and contribute to our growth at this exciting time. We are part of the BSPS group and have recently implemented new Abbott Alinity analysers and Winpath Enterprise LIMS. Lone working Out of Hours (OoH) experience, good time management, and team working skills are essential.
The laboratory is approved as a training site and fully compliant with the Blood Safety & Quality Regulations Act 2005. We support staff professional development.
The Haematology and Blood Transfusion laboratory is well equipped, featuring Abbott Alinity Hq/Hs for Haematology, Immucor Neo Iris for Blood Transfusion, and ACL TOPS 550 CTS for Coagulation.
We operate a shift system, and participation by the successful candidate is compulsory once deemed competent by the Lead BMS.
