You will join one of the UK’s leading financial services companies, who have built their success by putting people at the heart of their organisation by identifying and delivering products and services that are right for their customers. Due to a recent merger, my client is looking for a Senior PMO to join their Delivery Management team to support the coordination of portfolios maintaining alignment between strategy and execution along with supporting continued operational excellence. To be successful in this role, you will need merger and acquisitions experience in a PMO capacity as you will be working on a number of multimillion pound integration portfolios.
Main responsibilities
* Lead the co-ordination among the Central Programme Office, project teams and key executive stakeholders
* Implement programme cadence by scheduling Executive/Leadership meetings, capturing key insights and proactively resolving any issues
* Cultivate and manage distribution lists and channels for various forums and audience groups
* Champion the Strategic Programme Management tool, developing a deep understanding in its functionalities
* Ensure robust governance
* Manage tool configuration and enhancements, including data import/export processes.
Requirements
* Strong PMO experience including setting up a PMO from scratch
* Strong experience of mergers and acquisitions and working on integration projects/programmes
* Experience working on a multi-million pound portfolio
* Programme management skills including managing risk dependencies, issues and assumptions, planning and co-ordination, and setting/facilitating up workshops
* Agile and Waterfall methodology experience
* Financial services industry experience
* Experience managing and supporting junior colleagues
* Salary up to £65,000 + up to 20% bonus
* Hybrid working: 1 to 2 days a week in the office
* 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (option to buy and sell)
