GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming secondary school in Winchester. This is a permanent position working within the school’s SEN Base, supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.
About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced or aspiring SEN practitioner who is passionate about making a real difference in young people’s lives. You will be working closely with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting both academic progress and personal development in a structured, nurturing environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting students with a range of additional needs within the SEN Base
* Delivering tailored interventions in line with EHCP targets
* Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation
* Working collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Helping students build confidence, independence, and resilience
