As a Senior Children’s Worker, you’ll play a vital role in shaping their journey, supporting not just daily needs, but their hopes and aspirations.
Responsibilities
* Lead and support a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care.
* Act as keyworker, helping shape and review individual care plans.
* Promote inclusion, empowerment, and access to community services.
* Represent the service at reviews and meetings.
* Model excellent social care practice and behaviour support strategies.
* Take responsibility for medication, finances, and staff coordination.
* Share in worship and uphold our Christian ethos in daily practice.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Genuine interest in supporting children and young people with disabilities, with experience in managing challenging behaviour and working in a care setting.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet use.
* Ideally hold (or be committed to gaining) HNC and SVQ3 qualifications in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People).
* Registered with the SSSC, a member of the PVG Scheme, and your Christian faith is central to how you work and lead others with grace and compassion.
