We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Community Maternity Services Lead Midwife to join our innovative senior midwifery team and help shape the future of community-based maternity services.

As the Community Maternity Services Lead Midwife, you will be passionate to deliver high-quality, personalised care to women and families in our community.
Your role will involve leading a dynamic team of midwives, fostering a collaborative environment, and ensuring that the services provided are responsive to the diverse needs of the families we serve.
You will be a key driver in developing and enhancing services, leading with expertise, and supporting the continuous improvement of maternity care within our community.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support a team of midwives, ensuring they provide compassionate, evidence-based care.
* Develop and implement service strategies that align with national guidelines and local needs.
* Promote and deliver high-quality, safe, and person-centred maternity services within the community.
* Build strong relationships with families, offering guidance and support at every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postnatal care.
* Drive quality improvement projects to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless, integrated care.
* Provide leadership, participate in perinatal governance forums, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

* Registered Midwife
* Evidence of personal and professional development
* Evidence of a leadership/management course or equivalent

* Masters degree/equivalent postgraduate experience
