Support Worker - Housing at Adferiad
Salary: £25,027.20 per annum (Pro Rata) £12.80 per hour
Based at: Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire
Hours: 30 hours per week
Role purpose
Pembrokeshire Housing services have been developed in partnership with Pembrokeshire County Council, Hywel Dda and Pembrokeshire Housing Support Grant Team. Adferiad’s Support Accommodation projects provide temporary supported move-on accommodation. Support is delivered in shared accommodation, a supported housing setting in Haverfordwest, or in clients’ own homes in the locality. Projects include a 24-hour shared accommodation for up to six occupants who have a serious mental illness and require high levels of support to aid recovery, a second shared house with a lower level of housing-related support, and five additional one-bedroom flats in the locality.
The aim of the Adferiad staff team is to encourage and enable clients to reach a greater level of independence over a reasonable period and then facilitate their move to more independent living in the community.
The service is staffed 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with on-site waking nights, sleep-in cover, and a shift pattern that includes unsocial hours.
