About the Opportunity A well-established independent insurance organisation is seeking a Commercial Insurance Development Executive to support continued growth within its commercial division.
This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, developing client relationships and expanding commercial and specialist scheme business. You will work closely with internal broking and account handling teams while building a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
This position also offers the chance to develop your professional qualifications within the insurance sector.
What Youll Be Doing Generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and prospect engagement
Contacting potential clients via telephone and email
Preparing quotations and arranging meetings with prospective customers
Supporting the development of commercial and specialist scheme business
Cross-selling and up-selling additional insurance products to existing clients
Carrying out annual reviews for selected client accounts
Following up inbound enquiries generated via the company website
Working closely with account handlers and broking support teams
What Were Looking For Essential
35 years experience within the UK insurance industry
Background in commercial insurance or a similar insurance-based role
Strong business development and lead generation skills
Confidence contacting prospects via phone and email
Experience maintaining client relationships
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
Cert CII qualification or currently studying towards it
Experience in a call centre or outbound sales environment
