Behaviour Mentor – What We’re Looking For: Previous experience supporting children or young people with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges (in schools, youth settings, or mentoring roles) Calm, empathetic, and emotionally aware, with strong de-escalation and communication skills A genuine passion for improving children’s wellbeing and educational experiences Confidence in using behaviour management strategies and restorative approaches A team player who works effectively with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral staff, and external agencies Committed to inclusion, building positive relationships, and modelling constructive behaviour The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils, helping them manage emotions and behaviour effectively Build trusting relationships and offer consistent, structured guidance Encourage re-engagement with learning and support pupils in developing positive coping strategies Collaborate with teachers to maintain calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environments Application If you’re passionate about supporting children to grow in confidence, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning, we’d love to hear from you.
