Role details
Here at HDC we are passionate about the front-line services we deliver, and the Technician is a crucial role in that delivery. We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work in our Workshop department. We are committed to delivering the best service possible for our residents and we want you to be part of that effort.
The role is based in our Operations team as a Technician responsible for maintenance and repairs on vehicles, plant and equipment to ensure they meet the Department for Transport MOT Test standards.
Your work will contribute to the efficiency of our operations, enabling us to provide essential services to the community. You will inspect, diagnose and repair equipment while adhering to safety standards and regulations, and you will work closely with the Workshop Manager to ensure work is completed to a high standard.
Hours and location
* Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
* Operating hours: 6am to 5pm
* Location: Huntingdonshire district facilities
About you
You are a dedicated professional with substantial experience in commercial vehicle repair and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, welding and fabrication. You hold a valid UK driving licence (Cat C) and are proficient in using fleet management and diagnostic equipment.
