Role: Business Lecturer
Location: East Lancashire
Salary: £220 - £250 per day
Contract: Full-time Temp (35 hours per week)
Start Date: 12th Jan
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Business Lecturer for a leading college in East Lancashire. This role will involve delivering lessons to students across Year 1 and Year 2 Level 3 (L3) Business and T Level Business courses, as well as Level 2 (L2) adult learners.
All programs are well-resourced, and you will be expected to teach directly from these resources, delivering lessons in a structured and effective manner. You will also be responsible for regular assessment of students, providing feedback on their progress, and marking assignments in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver high-quality teaching on L3 and L2 Business courses
*Provide support and feedback on student assessments and progress
*Maintain a positive learning environment for all students
*Attend and contribute to departmental meetings
*Plan, prepare, and mark assessments
*Support students' development in both academic and vocational areas
Skills and Experience:
*Proven experience teaching Business at Level 3 and/or T Level Business
*Strong understanding of business-related topics such as business decision making, the English legal system, and business research methods
*Experience in delivering adult education, especially in business-related subjects
*Excellent communication skills, both in teaching and feedback
*Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons
*Familiarity with assessment tools and providing constructive feedback
*Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a workload effectively
*A commitment to student success and personal development
A DBS is also required for this role.
