Our Adult Community Teams are looking to recruit Registered Nurses to join our Bank workforce, supporting a range of community services across Sussex. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience across different teams and settings within community care. Are you looking for a flexible and varied role? Working on the bank allows you to gain experience across multiple community services, supporting patient care in a variety of settings while maintaining flexibility in your working hours. Community nursing provides a unique opportunity to deliver holistic care to patients in their own homes and local communities, often encompassing a wide range of clinical areas within one role.

The main aspects of the role are Diabetic Management, Wound Management including leg ulcers diagnosis and treatment, Palliative care working very closely with the Macmillan and GP’s, Bladder and bowel care including urethral and suprapubic catheters and other continence needs. As well as the traditional type of patients, we work in partnership with local health and social providers covering a specific group of people under Frailty. Our goal is to deliver high quality care in the community, working with patients towards rehabilitation, self‑management and independence throughout the continuum of care.

To participate in a team of colleagues supporting evidence‑based care, facilitating staff learning and development.
