UHI Moray are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced individual to the position of Nursery Nurse. As part of our commitment to widening access to education and training, UHI Moray provides a Nursery facility for children between 6 weeks and 5 years of age.
Reporting to the Nursery Manager, the successful candidate will assist in planning Nursery sessions and will support the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of individual children.
The successful candidate should hold an HNC in Childhood Practice, or hold an equivalent qualification (i.e., NNEB; SNEB or SVQ level 3), have knowledge of key aspects of the early year’s curriculum and of early childhood development, and be enthusiastic and highly motivated in promoting child led activities and learning experiences. Candidates should be registered or be willing to become registered with the SSSC. Experience of working with young children and babies in a Nursery environment is desirable but not essential for this post.
Working hours: 7.25 Hours per week, 0.187 FTE, Term Time
