AWS architect; Amazon Lex, Lambda, AWS automation, Python, JavaScrip
Location: Luton, hybrid 2 to 3 days per week office based
Rate: negotiable Inside IR35)
Duration: 6months + contract
The Role
Our customer is from the hospitality industry with operations spread across multiple countries. As an Architect, associate is required to contribute in automation journey, work closely with developers and guide them to achieve the integration of technologies to enable agreed automation.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
* 10 + years of Overall experience in AWS Cloud Technologies
* Proficient in Amazon Lex, Deep understanding of Lex features, capabilities, and limitations, AWS Ecosystem Knowledge
* Proficient in Amazon Connect
* Experience in other AWS services like Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, and CloudWatch
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Your responsibilities:
* Lead customer discussions on the AWS automation capabilities and technology
* Guide development team to address day to day integration challenges to achieve the end goal
* Manage customer expectations on product quality
* Work closely with Project Manager to address the impediments and achieve the go-live date
Desirable skills/knowledge/experience:
* Experience with at least one programming language (eg, Python, JavaScript) for Lambda function development
* Basic understanding of NLP concepts like intent classification, entity recognition, and sentiment analysis
