Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and building meaningful client relationships—particularly within faith-based organisations. About the Role As an HR Consultant, you’ll provide end-to-end HR support to a diverse client base, working both autonomously and collaboratively. You’ll play a key role in supporting faith-based organisations (including Christian charities and churches) as well as SMEs, helping them navigate people challenges with confidence. Please note: While there is no Occupational Requirement to be a Christian, experience of working or volunteering within faith-based settings is essential. What You’ll Be Doing Lead and support on employee relations cases (investigations, disciplinaries, grievances) Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted HR partner Deliver a full employee lifecycle service (ER, recruitment, L&D, policies and documentation) Support and develop HR Advisors within the team Identify opportunities to improve and digitise HR services Contribute to internal projects and continuous improvement initiatives Support business development through networking, thought leadership, and content creation Enhance Cornerstone Resources’ profile through events, blogs, and LinkedIn activity What We’re Looking For Essential Experience & Knowledge CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) Strong generalist HR background with extensive ER case management experience Experience supporting or working within faith-based organisations Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment Strong MS Office skills Desirable HR consultancy or commercial HR experience Business development or sales exposure Experience creating content (blogs, social media, thought leadership) Active LinkedIn presence Who You Are You’ll be: Honest, ethical and values-driven A confident communicator who builds trust quickly Pragmatic, solutions-focused, and commercially aware Highly organised, detail-oriented and self-motivated Adaptable, resilient, and calm under pressure Passionate about developing people and delivering excellent service Why Join Cornerstone Resources?
