This role provides a valuable opportunity to work closely with pupils and staff to help shape a positive learning environment. Role Overview: As a Level 1 TA, you will support the class teacher and pupils in day-to-day classroom activities, encourage positive behaviour, and help promote academic and social development. Role Responsibilities: Support pupils in their learning under the guidance of the class teacher. Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom organisation. Encourage pupil engagement and monitor progress. Provide 1:1 and small group support where needed. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment. Requirements for Level 1 TA: A relevant Level 1 TA qualification or prior classroom experience is desirable. A positive attitude and willingness to support pupils with varying needs. Good communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to safeguarding and pupil well-being. Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
