For the successful Multi-Skilled Shift Engineers, our client is offering:
* Salary of £51,000 p/a
* Hours of work: Continental 12.25-hour shifts, rotating days and nights (5:45–18:00 and 17:45–06:00)

The Role – Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer:
* Deliver both proactive and reactive engineering maintenance to ensure equipment meets production efficiency and reliability targets
* Minimise machine downtime through efficient fault finding and repair
* Implement continuous improvement projects and engineering changes to optimise plant performance and reduce energy consumption
* Support the integration of new machinery as part of the company's innovation roadmap
* Work collaboratively with the Projects Engineering and Technical teams to maintain audit readiness
* Ensure a safe and compliant working environment at all times
* Maintain clear communication and build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
* Commit to continuous professional development through training and upskilling
What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer:
* Previous experience in a similar multi-skilled engineering role – ESSENTIAL
* Qualified either electrically or mechanically (or time-served), with the ability to work confidently across both disciplines – ESSENTIAL
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Proven initiative and drive to deliver successful outcomes
* Willingness to learn new machinery and engage with equipment manufacturers to enhance technical skills
* Engineering experience in a food manufacturing environment – DESIRABLE
