We’re working with a well-established secondary school in West Newcastle, serving a close-knit local community. The school has a strong pastoral focus, clear behaviour expectations, and a supportive English department that works closely together.
They’re looking for an English teacher who can step confidently into KS3 and KS4 classes and keep learning moving.

£163–£263 per day
The role
1. Teaching English across KS3 and KS4
2. Delivering pre-planned lessons with space for your own style
3. Supporting pupils with mixed abilities
4. Working within a calm, well-structured department
You’ll suit this role if you
5. Hold UK QTS
6. Have experience teaching English in secondary schools
7. Are confident managing behaviour
8. Enjoy building positive classroom relationships

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
