Geography Teacher – Part‑time, long‑term temporary cover from January 2026, no planning required

Duties as Geography Teacher
* Deliver engaging Geography lessons using pre‑prepared plans
* Ensure pupils remain on task and maintain a positive learning environment
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Support pupils with queries and encourage participation in learning activities
* Monitor pupil engagement and provide feedback to teaching staff
* Uphold safeguarding and welfare standards at all times
Ideal Geography Teacher
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Strong subject knowledge in Geography across Key Stages
* Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Previous experience teaching Geography in a secondary school setting is desirable
