Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and proactive individual to join our team as a Goods Out Coordinator. In this role, you will be reporting into the Transport Manager and working closely with Stores & Purchasing Coordinator and take responsibility for overseeing the daily operations and administrative tasks involved in the shipment of finished goods. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient handling, accurate documentation, and adherence to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Manage the internal storage allocation and movement of all finished goods and outgoing shipments.
* Ensure proper arrangement of stocks with correct identification and labelling for accurate tracking.
* Produce accurate dispatch notes for every load.
* Handle returned stock by appropriately allocating it to departments or disposing of it correctly.
* Scan Proof of Deliveries (PODs), conduct proof checks, and ensure accessibility of delivery notes for customer care review.
* Coordinate the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring safe and secure transport of goods.
* Ensure timely departure of drivers with full loads.
* Prepare outgoing stock for deliveries.
* Monitor for damaged or missing items and follow the appropriate reporting procedures.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in warehouse management, shipping, or related fields.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of quality standards and procedures.
* Proficiency in relevant software applications for inventory management and tracking.
Working hours are Monday-Thursday 7.30am to 4.45pm and 7.30am to 11.30am on Friday, 39 hrs per week in total.
