Key Responsibilities Process weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls for multiple clients Ensure compliance with PAYE, NI, statutory payments and HMRC regulations Manage starters, leavers, tax codes, pensions and holiday pay Submit RTI returns and year-end filings Handle auto-enrolment duties, including pension uploads and communications Respond to payroll queries and maintain accurate, confidential records Work closely with internal teams to deliver an efficient payroll service Skills & Experience (Essential) Previous payroll experience (practice or bureau preferred) Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements High attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and customer service skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple payrolls Experience using Sage payroll software Strong Excel and numerical skills Desirable Experience in a payroll bureau or accountancy practice Knowledge of auto-enrolment pensions Payroll qualification (e.g. CIPP) beneficial but not essential Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-2pm Skills: Payroll reports Payroll Administration Payroll Processing Sage Payroll Payrolling Year-end report Check Payment
