IMS Recruitment is recruiting an OPERATING THEATRE NURSE for a hospital in Gibraltar.

The Nurse is wanted for an immediate start for a 12-month contract.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified Operating Theatre Nurses with NMC registration and at least three years of post-registration experience.
The department is particularly interested in Registered Nurses with experience as Scrub Nurses.
Requirements
* Applicants must be registered with the UK’s NMC
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in perioperative nursing, including scrub responsibilities.
* Knowledge of aseptic technique, instrument handling and day surgery workflows.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced day surgery environment.
* The post holder will provide professional nursing care across the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative phases of day surgery. Duties include pre-operative assessment, performing scrub responsibilities in the operating theatre, and supporting patient recovery in PACU.
* Available to start asap

* Salary between £30,378 to £40,140 p.a. pro rata. (NHS rates depending on experience)

* Full-time role of 40 hours per week, including weekend and night shifts
