When someone calls 111, youll be the first voice they hear. Using the NHS Pathways system, youll assess their needs and provide safe, non-clinical advice. The calls you take can range from simple prescription requests to helping someone in emotional distress.Youll need to stay calm under pressure, think on your feet and record detailed notes on the system quickly and accurately. We proactively encourage and support our Health Advisors to progress through the ranks as a Non-Clinical Coach, Service Manager or Team Manager where possible.We also offer development opportunities through our national recognised patient service qualification programme, Aspire to Excellence. Full-Time Options Youll work a mix of early and late shifts, starting from 7am or 8am and finishing as late as 10pm. If preferred, you can choose to work only late shifts or night shifts (typically 10pm to 6am). Weekend shifts are required every other weekend, but you can opt to work more if youd like. Part-Time Options Part-time roles mainly focus on evening and weekend shifts. Early shifts can start from 6am on weekends, while late shifts typically run until 10pm. Weekend-only roles are also available, and extra hours may be offered during busy periods. Training and Start Dates Were looking for candidates who can start training in November. Please note, the training for this role runs for 5 weeks and is full time (37.5 hours per week). We offer these courses in two timetables, either Monday-Friday 9am-5pm or Evening and Weekends.
