Job Description:
The role focuses on enhancing and maintaining the Bank's Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework to ensure resilience against potential disruptions. Responsibilities include identifying risks, conducting impact analyses, and coordinating with departments to develop continuity and recovery strategies.
The position also involves supporting crisis management initiatives to mitigate impacts of crises on the Bank.
The Senior Business Continuity Manager will lead training and awareness programs, conduct regular testing and drills, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. The role requires proactive risk management and preparedness for unforeseen events.
Business Continuity Management Framework
Assist in enhancing and maintaining the Bank’s BCM framework in line with regulations and industry standards. Ensure integration across London and New York offices. Regularly review and update related policies and procedures.
Risk Assessments
Coordinate business impact analyses and risk assessments to identify threats and vulnerabilities. Review and challenge outputs to prioritize high-risk areas and adjust strategies accordingly.
BCM Planning and Strategies
Develop and maintain robust business continuity, recovery, and crisis management plans with key stakeholders. Monitor their effectiveness and implement improvements. Organize and lead exercises and drills to test plans.
Crisis/Incident Management
Support crisis response efforts and maintain emergency communication tools.
Supplier Risk Management
Perform due diligence on third-party suppliers' business continuity arrangements.
Governance and Reporting
Provide regular updates to senior management on BCM initiatives, risks, and progress.
Training and Awareness
Design and deliver training programs to ensure staff understand their roles in business continuity.
