Summary We are excited to invite applications for the role of Receptionist in our Edinburgh office. You will join our collaborative Operations Team, providing essential support and services to our Edinburgh & Glasgow offices and remote staff team. While we have embraced flexible working practices across our organisation, this role requires fulltime on-site presence in Edinburgh to ensure seamless operations. The Role What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll enhance your skills by managing a variety of reception and administrative tasks, including: - Providing a welcoming experience and high standard of service to all visitors and callers. - Managing reception duties, including call announcements. - Opening, scanning and distribution of incoming mail (training will be provided). - Managing daily outgoing Royal Mail, organise courier collections and deliveries. - Overseeing the meeting room booking system. - Booking transportation services for clients, partners, and team members. - Keeping the reception area organised and presentable. - Ensuring end-of-day security protocols are completed. You’ll also assist the Operations Team with additional administrative tasks to support colleagues, such as: - Scanning of client records and documents. - Printing and document preparation. - Occasionally assisting with board meeting preparation. - Other ad hoc administrative tasks as needed. Here’s what will help you succeed in this role: - Experience in a professional setting, or transferable skills from other roles (including voluntary or educational experience). - Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. - An organised approach to tasks, including prioritisation and attention to detail. - A collaborative mindset and willingness to take initiative. - Reliability and a positive approach to client service and team support. - Adaptability and openness to varied tasks. - Ability to handle some light physical tasks (e.g., carrying files) – manual handling training will be provided.
