Financial Planning Administrator | Bolton | Hybrid Working | Flexible Hours | Starting Salary £32,000 An established financial advice firm is seeking a Financial Planning Administrator to work closely with IFAs and with Technical Support, you’ll ensure clients receive the best possible advice and service. Responsibilities include: Client Onboarding & Maintenance: Setting up new client records, updating personal details, and managing client files. Meeting Preparation: Collating data, preparing portfolio valuations, and creating reports for client review meetings. Provider Liaison: Contacting providers for information, handling Letters of Authority, and managing policy transfers. New Business Processing: Submitting applications, processing transactions (contributions/withdrawals), and monitoring progress to completion. Client Support: Acting as a point of contact for non-advice queries via phone or email. Scope Exposure: To more technical tasks even as an administrator, without level 4 being a barrier to entry Progression: Become a Technical Assistant (Paraplanner). This one is longer term. The person: Experience supporting financial advisers is essential and the business will develop research, analytical and report writing skills. Strong attention to detail, confident communication, and the ability to manage workloads independently are essential.
