HP Sales Specialist
Location: Milton Keynes - Hybrid
This role follows a non‑negotiable 3‑day hybrid working pattern. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Milton Keynes office.
About the Job
Due to continued growth, we’re looking for an HP Sales Specialist to join Ingram Micro. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their sales career or looking for a step up from retail, customer service, order management or internal sales to move into a consultative, technology sales role with structured training and clear development opportunities.
You’ll work within our HP portfolio, building strong customer relationships, learning how to manage opportunities end‑to‑end, and becoming confident in how to position HP solutions to support customer needs.
What you can expect to be getting up to as a Sales Associate
* Sell – primarily by telephone – products and services to current customers
* Develop a strong knowledge of the relevant products and services offered by the vendors within the portfolio
* Provide information on product and service offerings by the vendor
* Become a Trusted Advisor for both internal and external customers
* Provide availability, discontinuation and special offers
* Provide pricing and quotations to customers
* Follow up on sales leads and opportunities
* Accurately manage, develop, and monitor deal progress
* Maintain and improve on revenue and profit, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service
* Engage in sales focus days at Ingram Micro and at customers where necessary
To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience
* Experience in a customer‑facing, sales, retail, order management, internal sales or account support environment
* Ability to communicate effectively, over the phone, via email and face to face
* Have drive and be motivated to understand your subject matter
* Continuously learn the new technology releases in an ever‑changing environment
* Good PC skills, including Microsoft Office suite, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel. CRM experience preferable
* A desire and ability to understand and improve systems, programmes, and processes
