I’m working with a leading financial services firm that is building out a brand-new procurement function, and we're looking for a capable and commercially astute IT Procurement Manager to come on board during this pivotal phase.
This is opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in project-led environments and is comfortable taking ownership. You’ll play a key role in delivering a variety of tech sourcing initiatives – with a focus on software, but exposure to broader IT categories is welcome. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to engage senior stakeholders will be essential.
The Role:
* Lead strategic and operational IT procurement projects across software, cloud, infrastructure, and services
* Support key tech initiatives and programmes through end-to-end sourcing and contract management
* Drive commercial value and risk management through effective negotiation and supplier engagement
* Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Project teams to align procurement with business needs
* Contribute to shaping policies, processes, and governance as part of a newly forming function
What They're Looking For:
* 3–7 years’ experience in IT procurement, with solid exposure to software licensing and SaaS
* Demonstrated ability to manage project-based procurement activities and tight timelines
* Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and contract management skills
* Broader experience across tech (infrastructure, cloud, telecoms) is beneficial
* Confident working in regulated or complex stakeholder environments
