Senior Site Joiner / Installation Manager
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: Four-day working week (Monday-Thursday) with overtime opportunities
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000
Location: Based in Cumbria, with travelling to customer sites.

NXT Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading manufacturer of bespoke timber windows and doors who are looking to add a skilled and motivated Senior Site Joiner / Installation Manager to their growing installation team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with strong site management experience and practical joinery skills. The successful candidate will take ownership of installations, oversee site teams (including subcontractors), and ensure that projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead, manage, and schedule installation teams on multiple customer sites.
2. Carry out hands-on installation work where required, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
3. Manage subcontractor’s teams, including sourcing and onboarding new subcontractors when needed.
4. Take ownership of scheduling, resource planning, and on-site organisation.
5. Act as a main point of contact for customers, liaising throughout projects and resolving any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
6. Ensure all installations are delivered to the highest standards, with attention to detail and adherence to health & safety regulations.
7. Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the team.
Skills:
8. Proven experience managing construction site teams, with strong leadership and organisational skills.
9. Practical background in site joinery, with the ability to step in and assist with installations when required.
10. Strong experience installing bespoke timber windows and doors.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues.
12. Skilled in problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
13. Experience managing subcontractors, including sourcing and coordinating teams.
14. Commitment to delivering exceptional quality and customer service.
15. Full, clean UK driving licence.
