Job Summary

We are looking to recruit new Ambulance Care Assistant 2 as part of a 6‑week training programme. The role is based at one of our base stations: Lampeter, Carmarthen or Pembroke Dock. Interview 12th December – Carmarthen Ambulance Station. Course start 23rd March – Swansea.
Main Duties
The role is entry level, often leading to EMT or Paramedic positions. You will support patients and health team, use excellent communication, be a committed team player, and adapt to varied workdays.
Job Responsibilities
Full Job description and Person Specification are attached. Applicants must hold a full C1 driving licence with ≤3 penalty points and no convictions for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Qualifications
* Level 2 Diploma including Essential/Key/Core Skills at Level 2 in Application of Number and Communication or 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Mathematics/Numeracy, English/Welsh and combined Sciences or any single science.
Experience
* Experience of working with people
* Experience of working alone as well as in a team
Desirable
* Experience within the health or social care setting
Other
* C1 classification on driving licence no more than 3 points and no convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
