Job Title: Interim Occupational Therapist Service Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Interim Occupational Therapist Service Manager to oversee the delivery and management of occupational therapy services within a local authority setting in Northern England. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, drive improvements in service delivery, and ensure the highest standards of care for our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the occupational therapy team, providing professional guidance and support.
Oversee service delivery to ensure that all care plans and assessments are in line with relevant legislation and best practices.
Manage resource allocation and budgets for the occupational therapy service.
Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of the service.
Work closely with other health and social care professionals, ensuring seamless integrated service delivery.
Monitor performance, ensuring compliance with service standards and outcomes.
Provide expert clinical advice and support to staff, managers, and commissioners.
Manage the recruitment, training, and development of occupational therapy staff.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical background.
Proven experience in managing and leading occupational therapy services within a local authority or NHS setting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks, and policies in health and social care.
Ability to drive service improvements, manage budgets, and navigate complex situations.
A solution-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
A relevant managerial qualification (e.g., Level 5 or above) would be desirable.
