Job Description
H & H Eyecare is a respected independent opticians practice in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, known for high clinical standards, personalised care and excellent service. In our 11th year we are planning bold moves and need an experienced dispensing optician ready to step into a role with a clear pathway towards practice management. The role is for someone who can provide incredible service, take ownership, and play a meaningful part in how the practice is run.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with owners and clinical team, combining high‑level patient care with increasing operational responsibility. Whether you’re a qualified or student dispensing optician, this is your chance to shine in a relaxed, target‑free environment. You’ll enjoy a supportive, close‑knit team, unhurried appointments, premium eyewear brands (Cartier, Lindberg, Theó, Cutler & Gross, Oliver Peoples, Tom Ford) and the latest clinical tech in a modern practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver consistently excellent patient experiences
* Advanced dispensing, frame styling, and lens advice
* Act as a senior presence on the shop floor
* Support, guide and set standards for the wider team
* Involved in diary management, stock control and practice processes
* Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, service and patient journey
* Provide structured progression into a management position if desired
Management Progression

Salary & Benefits

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 9.30 am – 6 pm; Saturday: 9.30 am – 5 pm
