Job Description:
As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with an NHS Trust to find an experienced and dedicated Mental Health Practitioner who will be based in the Ormskirk area, providing a comprehensive specialist service in Community Mental Health. This post will require experience working clinically with service users experiencing a range of mental health problems and reviewing care needs and pathways for people with complex mental health issues in the community.
Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful mental health teams in the country. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated candidate with experience of complex mental healthservices and would also suit a registered mental health nurse, a social worker with community mental healthexperience. This role is ideally full time hours (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) with a duration until August 2025.
Registered Mental Health Nurse Degree/Diploma with ongoing NMC registration
Knowledge and practice of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
Experienced in acting as a mentor/assessor of student staff
Previous UK NHS experience working with a caseload of patients with complex mental health difficulties (preferably within the community)
Full UK Drivers License and Access to a Car
Right to Work in the UK
