Location: Hull (HU2 9DB)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: Up to £35.00 per hour (Umbrella, DOE)
Contract Type: Full-time, Agency/Temporary
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childrens Social Worker to join our team in Hull. You will play a key role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, working closely with families and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
As a Childrens Social Worker, youll manage a diverse caseload, undertake assessments, and provide support and interventions that make a lasting difference. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated practitioner who is passionate about improving the lives of children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out child and family assessments in line with statutory requirements.
* Develop and implement care and protection plans tailored to each childs needs.
* Work collaboratively with schools, health professionals, and partner agencies.
* Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring all documentation is completed to a high standard.
* Attend case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings as required.
* Promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people at all times.
* Ensure all practice complies with legislative, policy, and procedural frameworks.
