Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking
* Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the organisation's client base
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
* Conduct presentations and negotiations to secure new contracts and partnerships
* Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business growth
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline using CRM software, particularly Salesforce
* Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
* Prepare detailed reports on business development progress for senior management
Skills
* Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the same industry
* Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and other CRM tools
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards achieving targets
* Knowledge of market research techniques and strategic planning methods
