Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic expansion of our company within a competitive market. The ideal applicant will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and experience with CRM software such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking
* Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the organisation's client base
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
* Conduct presentations and negotiations to secure new contracts and partnerships
* Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that support business growth
* Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline using CRM software, particularly Salesforce
* Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making
* Prepare detailed reports on business development progress for senior management

Skills

* Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the same industry
* Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and other CRM tools
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to analyse data and generate actionable insights
* Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards achieving targets
* Knowledge of market research techniques and strategic planning methods
