We are currently recruiting for an IT Infrastructure Analyst on an initial fixed term contract (12 months). We can offer hybrid remote working but the role will be primarily based at Bournemouth Airport.
Main Responsibilities:
Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be:
* Supporting an on-premise virtual environment (VMWare) and Windows based VMs.
* Supporting network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches and wireless systems in BAU operations as well as assisting in new roll-out projects on remote sites.
* Supporting Infrastructure projects rolling out new technologies where appropriate.
* Managing and maintaining on-premise AD, DNS, DHCP and NTP services
* Monitoring and maintaining backup services (Veeam & VeeamO365).
* When required, representing Infrastructure at team, department and supplier meetings.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 utilising E3 or E5 licencing model.
* 3+ Years' experience in a 3rd line infrastructure role or similar
* Strong skills in Microsoft Server operating systems and core applications
* Strong skills and experience with VMWare vSphere, ESXi and Veeam.
* Good general networking skills with particular emphasis on NAC, 802.1x, IPv4 routing and VPN technologies.
* Ability to understand complex technical concepts and liaise and converse at all levels
Good inter-personal skills and the ability to work on own as well as a team player
* Proven ability to work on multiple projects and see them through from conception to completion.
