What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for a Team Coordinator to join the team at Southern Water, a Galliford Try business.
The team coordinator supports the daily operations of the leadership team and wider business unit, ensuring smooth workflows and effective collaboration. Responsibilities include scheduling, communication, administrative tasks, and possibly project management support.
Key responsibilities:
* Team Management: Overseeing team members' administration and resource allocation.
* Communication: Acting as liaison between team members, clients, and stakeholders.
* Project Coordination: Supporting project teams with administrative tasks, managing schedules, and tracking progress.
* Administrative Support: Scheduling meetings, maintaining records, managing documentation, and general administrative duties.
* Resource Management: Ensuring access to necessary resources.
* Event Planning: Organising team events and celebrations, participating in special events when needed.
* Issue Resolution: Addressing challenges within the team or projects and escalating issues as necessary.
* Compliance: Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Confidentiality: Managing information with appropriate confidentiality.
Experience and Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management software.
* Experience in a team coordination/support role.
* Literate and numerate skills.
* Strong organisational skills.
