We are looking for an Administrator/Sales Person to join us at Huws Gray Stamford!
If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We’re the Huws Gray Group, made up of brands including Huws Gray, Hirebase, Civils & Lintels, The Timber Group, PDM, NDI, and Anglia Tool Centre. Our branches across the UK serve and support local communities with building materials, and we’re looking for the right people to join us.
Our Administrators support end-to-end administrative functions within the branch, while our Sales teams build relationships with customers and suppliers, aiming to increase branch sales and profit. Working in one of our branches, you’ll be part of a team committed to excellent customer service and completing tasks efficiently.
Here’s a quick overview of your responsibilities as an Administrator/Sales Person:
1. Using Microsoft Office packages to maintain relevant documents within the branch.
2. Creating and sharing reports using Excel for branch teams.
3. Managing and updating data using our database applications.
4. Maintaining product displays and shop areas, ensuring they are stocked and appealing.
5. Serving customers over the counter or on the phone.
We value individuality and provide training and tools to help you succeed. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
