Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding to incidents as they arise. Responsibilities
* Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
* Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activities.
* Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing assistance as necessary.
* Maintain surveillance through CCTV systems, ensuring all activities are recorded accurately.
* Prepare detailed reports on incidents, accidents, or any unusual occurrences for further investigation.
* Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure compliance with security protocols.
* Provide first aid and CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals in emergency situations.
* Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
Skills
* Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of surveillance systems including CCTV operation.
* Ability to manage conflicts effectively, demonstrating excellent conflict management skills.
* Familiarity with first aid and CPR procedures; certification is a plus.
* Military background is advantageous but not mandatory.
* Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential security threats.
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with individuals at all levels.

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
