Head of B2B & Retail Channels, UK & Ireland

Corvus People is delighted to be working with Solina, a major operator in the UK & Ireland savoury food solutions sector. Solina brings together culinary expertise, technical knowledge, and innovation to support customers across manufacturing, foodservice, butchery, and nutrition.

Operating under the purpose "We Make Food Matter," the company designs customised ingredient solutions that combine flavour, functionality, and nutrition, adapting them to local markets while leveraging global resources.

Solina has experienced significant expansion, scaling fivefold in the last decade. As part of its next phase of growth, the business has created a new leadership role, Head of B2B & Retail, UK & Ireland. This is a key appointment responsible for delivering the strategic plan across the B2B and Retail channels in tandem with the Foodservice strategy.

The role represents an opportunity to define and deliver the commercial roadmap for B2B and Retail, ownership of blue-chip accounts, identify new opportunities for value creation, and play a central role in transforming how Solina goes to market in the UK and Ireland.

A strong leader, you will build high performing teams, develop excellent working partnerships with colleagues across the business, and demonstrate confidence in leading through strategic transformation. As a member of the UK & Ireland Senior Leadership Team, you will also contribute directly to the overall growth of Solina in the region.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a newly created role with the mandate to make a tangible impact, have a significant input to future strategy, and the platform to lead through a period of exciting change.

Your Profile

* At least ten years' experience in senior commercial leadership within FMCG, food manufacturing, or food ingredients

* A proven track record of delivering both B2B and retail strategies across UK and Ireland

* Experience managing P&L, driving transformation, and leading cross functional teams

* A strong record in team development, succession planning, and leadership in complex environments

* High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to lead through change and ambiguity

To succeed in this role you will be a natural problem solver, highly focused, with the ambition and gravitas to influence at the highest levels. You will demonstrate credibility, a growth mindset, and strong cultural alignment with Solina's purpose and values. Travel required to key strategic accounts (London in particular), so need to be able to work on a hybrid basis.

Essential skills include strong commercial acumen, first class negotiating skills, strategic thinking, experience of leading business transformations or restructures, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
