As our Technical Support Manager for Wales, you'll play a vital role in delivering added value services to our clients. Collaborating with the whole WPA team, this is a fantastic opportunity to add real value to our work through being responsible for the successful delivery of technical added value support service for Wales.
In this field-based role the successful candidate will bring their skills and experience of dealing with people in person, building and maintaining professional relationships within a highly customer focused team. With knowledge of regulated procurement of goods/services relating to the Public Sector and experience of managing building/construction projects from site feasibility through to building completion, the successful candidate will understand construction and project management techniques and have experience in using CRM systems or similar databases.
A knowledge of the social housing and local authority sectors within Wales is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Deliver added value services to clients and support the successful delivery of technical added value support service for Wales in collaboration with the WPA team.
* Build and maintain professional relationships within a highly customer-focused team.
* Apply knowledge of regulated procurement of goods/services relating to the Public Sector.
* Manage building/construction projects from site feasibility through to building completion.
* Utilise CRM systems or similar databases to track projects and maintain records.
Qualifications
* Experience dealing with people in person and building professional relationships.
* Knowledge of regulated procurement in the Public Sector and project management techniques.
